After we feasted our eyes with the beauty of the Chocolate Hills, we continued with our countryside tour of the island of Bohol. It was already past-12 noon, and we were already hungry. Thankfully, our next destination was Bohol Enchanted which also hosts a buffet restaurant inside the ecological compound.

We ate our lunch and enjoyed the buffet setup in a round covered are in the middle of a garden of flowers. Unfortunately, we got no picture of the area. We were too famished, sa pagkain talaga natuon ang atensyon namin.

We managed to take a mandatory twofie though. Just picture in your mind the flowers and plants behind us, then imagine a full circle filled with those greeneries.

After we ate, time to check on another iconic figure in Bohol: baby Yoda!

Tarsiers are considered as one of the smallest primates in the world, if not the smallest. Their signature large eyes help them navigate the darkness of the night as they are nocturnal creatures, while their oversized tails help them in their movement. The very reason why we always only get a photo of a tarsier lazily holding on a tree branch with almost absolute stillness is because they are supposed to be asleep in the morning.

While understandably the star of the moment because of its prominence in the island of Bohol, the tarsier is not the only interesting creature that we saw in Bohol Enchanted.

After seeing the interesting animals, we went to the butterfly garden, still in Bohol Enchanted. The butterflies are situated in a netted garden with beautiful plants and flowers. The greeneries in this place are just so relaxing.

After spending time with the animals in Bohol Enchanted, we went to our next destination, which was the last for our countryside tour: the Bilar Manmade Forest.

The Bilar Manmade Forest is a two-kilometer stretch of dense mahogany trees and was a product of a reforestation project. Located along the boundaries of the towns of Bilar and Loboc, the forest features a canopy of trees shading what would have been an otherwise hot asphalt road.

We just gave it a quick visit, primarily because the road cuts through across the forest, and any prolonged activity would be dangerous for both the tourists and the motorists.

After a quick photoshoot in the manmade forest na may kasamang patintero sa mga rumaragasang sasakyan, we returned to our hotel to rest off a bit before going out again to look for a place to eat our dinner.

Shortened as it was since we removed a chunk of the organized tour to accommodate Danao, our countryside tour was still a very enjoyable day filled with fun experiences to keep and reminisce.
