After enjoying our semi-customized countryside tour, we returned to our accommodation in Quest Villa to rest a little before heading to Panglao Beach and check our potential dinner options. The Villa was very helpful in arranging for our motorcycle service such that the motorbike was already waiting for us when we arrived.

Have I mentioned that somewhere along our countryside tour, my eyeglasses lost one of its screws rendering them as useless as my eyes when without them? Despite being practically blind, I was the one who drove the motorcycle. Naging honest naman si Ran na kinakabahan s’ya.

Contrary to what initially thought, nightlife in Panglao is very much alive. We did not plan to waste ourselves though as we have a rather early schedule the following day. The trick is to stick to the plan: eat dinner, take a short walk, return to the hotel.

We had a sumptuous dinner, but we failed to get the name of the restaurant that served us. The vibrancy of Panglao nightlife defied the meaning of its name, we got absorbed.

After our dinner, we took a walk along the shores of Panglao. Towards the end of the lighted shoreline, we had to halt walking and were treated to a breath stopping fire dance show.

As soon as the fire dance show was finished, we decided to call the night off. We headed back to the Villa, but it was Ran who drove the motorcycle.

As soon as we arrived back in he Villa, akala ko matutulog na kami, pero not yet. May tumalon sa pool.

Hindi na ‘ko naligo sa pool. After all, we will have more than enough of the sea on the day that would follow.
